SIDHU Nachhatter "Mama" Singh. Passed away on November 18, 2012 at the age of 86. Nachhatter resided with his late nephew Sher and Surinder Braich in Abbotsford and is survived by his sister Gurdev Gill (Bakshish) and brother Balwinder Sidhu (Sukhminder).
Nachhatter was a professional soldier and served in the Indian Army during WW 2 and immigrated to Canada in 1973.
Nachhatter loved to roam around Sher's farm and will forever be remembered for his easygoing demeanour and infectious laugh. A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:30 am at Bakerview Crematorium, 34863 Cemetery Avenue, Mission, BC followed by a service at the Mission Sikh Temple, 32086 Lougheed Hwy at noon.
