Muriel O. (Merle) Bennion of Calgary, Alberta, passed away quietly on October 8, 2003 at Peter Lougheed Hospital. Mrs. Bennion resided in the Lower Mainland from 1948 - 1989.
She was predeceased by her husband Bernie Bennion in 1991. He woned Bennion's Pharmacey on Essendene Ave. from 1950 to 1974.
Merle is remembered by her four daughters; Carol of Lynden, Wa., Dixie and Terry of Calgary, Alberta, and Kelle of Coquitlam, B.C.; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Her life was dedicated to her family and dear and loyal friends. Her enjoyment of knitting and cooking touched many lives. Her kind and generous spirit were a joy to many. She was loved by those who loved her most and whose lives she touched. Her life here will not soon be forgotten.
