On Saturday, February 19th, 2022 Michael John Hamilton passed away at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital at the age of 85. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 17th, 1937. He is survived by his wife Karen Irene who he married in December of 1991 and emigrated to Canada.
Michael was a regular volunteer for 7 years at Godson Elementary School, was an avid swimmer, diver, kayaker and canoeist. He was also proficient in Scottish Country Dancing and danced with the Dem team at many highland games. He sang and danced with the Fraser Valley Stage in Buxton England and Waterford Ireland.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2pm, at St. Ann's Church with Father Richard at 33333 Mayfair Street, with reception immediately following.
