Marion Ruth McFarlane peacefully passed away in her favourite chair on December 22, 2003 at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1940 in Edmonton, Alberta.
She is survived by her loving feline friends, Toby & Sweetie, her twin sister Marjorie McFarlane and numerous friends who have shared in her life, Rosemary Kilbourn, Nancy Alexander, Rev. Donna Kirkpatrick, Barb Wightman, her friends from St. John Sanctuary, and many students, whose lives were profoundly affected by this great lady. Her exceeding generosity was a pure gift from GOD. She will be fondly remembered for her adoration of cats. Often lovingly called "The Cat Angel".
Marion taught throughout the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic School Board and will be remembered for her incredible gifts of humour and dedication. She was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. with those who loved her at Henderson's Funeral Home, Abbotsford, B.C. Rev. Donna Kirkpatrick officiating.
