Born May 7th 1931 in Germany, passed away March 20th 2018 in Abbotsford B.C.
She was surrounded by her loving family when she peacefully slipped away. Maria immigrated to Canada to marry her sweetheart Lloyd Vickers. They celebrated 59 years of marriage. They had 4 children.
Maria was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Sedlacek and son in law Dusan Sedlacek. She is survived by sons Norman Fuchs, Ingo Vickers (Dee Vickers) and Marco Vickers. She has 6 wonderful grandchildren, Jamie, Chantelle (Doug Miller), Andrew, Michelle (Murray Gartly), Joshua and Sean. Her 2 beautiful great grand children Lexus and Peyton.
Maria is also survived by her brother Norbert Gromoski ( Mary) of Austria. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all. The last few years had been a struggle for her with illness. The past 3 months she was lovingly cared for by the staff of Worthington Pavillion in Abbotsford B.C.
