On April 17, 2018 Betty passed away suddenly at Abbotsford Regional Hospital at the age of 89.

Betty will be forever remembered by her sister Lorraine Green (Butch), her sister Sandra Micheals (Randy Knill), by her five nieces and five nephews, her step-daughter Elaine Dubois and her extended family in Canada and the USA.

Betty was born in Swift Current Saskatchewan. She moved to Vancouver in the 1940's, married Emory Lee Coleman in 1949 (d.1982) and moved to the USA where she became an active member of her community.

She is predeceased by her partner Charles Dubois (2012), her sister Norma (2004) and her brother Bob (2012).

She loved to travel, garden, and play Bridge. Spending time with her family and her many friends was very important to Betty. She was very generous with her time and energy, always one of the first to volunteer, creating and managing enjoyable activities for others. She always made time to care for those in need. Shuffleboard was her passion and she was proud of her Trophies. Betty lived in the USA until 2008 when she resided full time in Abbotsford. She was an avid Bridge player with the Friendship House Society where she loved to socialize.

Betty was a kind, loving and charismatic woman and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 1 at 3 pm in the Common Room in her residence at 3172 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford BC.
