Marcia Anne Serrano

August 13, 1959 - April 21, 2022
After a short but intense battle with cancer, Marcia was mercifully liberated from anguish on April 21st, 2022.
Marcia Anne Serrano (nee Sclar) was born in M.S.A. Hospital on August 13th, 1959 and is the beloved daughter of Jack and Helen Sclar, both of whom predecease her.
Marcia remains much loved by her immediate family: husband Benigno, son Nicholas, and brother John (Sclar). In addition, she is in the thoughts and hearts of numerous extended
family members in Alberta, Mexico, and across the greater world. We all intensely miss Marcia's physical presence and her constant kindnesses.
Marcia was truly blessed to have many extraordinary and loyal friends. The family is extremely buoyed for the many simple kindnesses extended to Marcia: across the years, and, especially, the many kindnesses shown during these past few months-- Thank-you All!
A member of the Salvation Army's Cascade Church, Marcia remembers and celebrates all people in her Church family. Your communal faith helps Marcia hold tight during these violently and turbulent times. Marcia remains steadfast in the love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is greatly strengthened and comforted in his presence.
With Jesus, she is now at her ease. And, in his presence, she is now at her peace.
Lastly, the family wants to acknowledge the doctors, nurses many caregivers, who aided her in her fight: your care and compassion is greatly appreciated and warmly remembered.
A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 1pm at The Salvation Army Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Rd, Abbotsford, BC.
