We are sad to announce the passing of Lorraine Beatrice Phillips of Abbotsford, BC at Holmberg House Hospice on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth Sr. and Bertha (Branscombe) Phillips and stepmother Charlotte (Ward, Chisholm) Phillips as well as her loving siblings Barbara, Dorothy, Blake, Erville, Raymond, Kenneth Jr, Heather, Lynn, and Stephen.
Lorraine is survived by her three children Roderick (Karen) Klaassen, Pamala (Fred) Farinha and Lesley (Nathan) Unger; her five grandchildren Racyne (Craig) Mader, Joshua Klaassen, Kayla Farinha, Emily Klaassen, and Daniel Unger; and her four great-grandchildren Carter and Mason Whitford, and Ellie and Dax Mader.
She is also survived by siblings Donald (Jean) Phillips, Malcolm (Glenna) Phillips, Robert Phillips, Terrance Phillips, Merrilyn Chisholm Toth, and Mac Chisholm; as well as sisters-in-law Della Phillips, Marjorie Flowers and Shirley Phillips. She will also be remembered by her much-loved, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holmberg House at abbotsfordhospice.org or your own local hospice.
