GRAHAM; Lina (Helen) Clementine. Helen passed away, October 16, 2013 at the age of 102 years. Helen was born at Borden, Saskatchewan on January 20, 1911. She came to an assurance of her salvation through the reading of a booklet "Christies Old Organ". She attended Bethany Bible School and graduated in 1943. In 1954 she met and married Thomas Graham. Shortly thereafter they retired and moved to Victoria, BC where they both did missionary work to the crews on foreign ships in the harbor. Tom passed away September 2, 1991. Helen will be missed by her step-daughters, Geraldine (Clarence) Seward, Marjorie (Lloyd) Scott, Laurina Graham, and Angelina Graham; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many friends. Helen passed away while living at the Tabor Home where she has lived for the past 17 years. She was a gifted poet. Most of her poems reflected on her Christian faith and on her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Poet Institute of Canada where many of her poems were registered. A number were mounted on plaques which she treasured greatly and delighted in giving some to dear friends. She had a concern for Government officials and sent poems to Heads of State, Prime Ministers and the Queen, most of which were acknowledged by them. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on October 25 at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Avenue, Abbotsford, BC, followed by a Celebration of Helen's Life at 1:30 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC
