Lillian Royce Jackson, originally from Huntingdon, Quebec, Canada, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Clarksville, TN Gateway Medical Center. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Russell Jackson from Alida, Saskatchewan, Canada. A private service was held at Bethel United Methodist Church on September 2, 2014 at 3180 Fort Campbell Blvd, Clarksville, TN 37042. On October 11th, Lillian, alongside her husband Donald, will ceremoniously be laid to rest in the Cooper family plot, at the Huntingdon Protestant Cemetery in Huntingdon, Quebec, Canada. Lillian, the daughter of the late Winston and Evelyn Rankin Cooper, was born on September 16, 1927. Lillian was a strong, pioneering woman who tackled life head on. Early in marriage, she juggled a career, children and household. According to her five children, Lillian epitomized the role of "homemaker". All that knew Lillian marveled at her strength, endurance, sense of humor and endless love and concern for others. Lillian is survived by her five children: Clinton (Sharon), Douglas (Linda), Barbara (David), Patti (Dan), Karen (Bruce) and many wonderful grandchildren. Lillian is also survived by her brother Raymond Cooper (Lillian) of Ontario, Canada along with many friends and family in Canada and the United States.
