August 17, 1958 - April 27, 2024
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lesley in the early morning of hours of April 27th surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 4.5-year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband Jayme, her children David Blanchard (Amanda), Kimberly Wernicke (Erich), Amanda, Kaityln (Alex Davis), her beloved dog Mindy, 7 Grandchildren, sisters Linda Blanchard (Randy), Judy Harestad (Dick), Beverly Schneider, Gerry Burdett (David) as well as several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Frew, Dr. Ko and the staff at the Abbotsford Cancer Clinic, the staff at the Mission Hospital and the Christine Morrison Hospice. Lesley chose cremation and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the B.C. Cancer Society or the Christine Morrison Hospice in Lesley's name would be appreciated.
