May 25, 1949 - February 10, 2021
Leonard Calvin Jansen, always affectionately known as Pork, passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2021 at age 71; surrounded by his loved ones, from heart, kidney and other health challenges.
Surviving him is his beloved family: wife Ruth of 48 years, daughter Marsha and Troy, Naomi, Steven & Erin Langelaar; son Ryan & Ashley, Lindsey, Jeremy & Chase Jansen; son Russ & Tucker Jansen.
Also survived by large extended families: siblings; Don, James (Shirley), Patricia, Alvin (Susan), Bernie (Wilma), Ken (Shirley), Kevin (Angie) and their children, a total group of 129, in-laws Audrey (Larry), Martin (Christal), Jerry (Audrey), Neil (Candy) and their children; a total group of 99.

Pork loved and was proud of his family, his bulldozing career, his stock car racing hobby of 30 years, his friends and acquaintances, many adopted 'Pork Shop' sons, the fun travels in their motorhome.
He had a 'rebel without a cause' nature and loved to debate any subject. He was cheerful, cheeky, and was generous with hugs. He was also willing to lend a hand to those who needed it. He believed that God blessed him far more than he could have ever asked for or imagined.
Thank you to all the caring, helpful, fun medical teams that assisted us through our challenging health journey. We are so grateful to everyone who has blessed us with messages, cards, flowers, meals, visits and prayers.
A private Graveside Service was held on February 16th at the Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery. Thank you to Pastor Bruce Gritter for officiating and to Jake Wiebe and Wiebe & Jeske for their services.
