August 18, 1937 - July 22, 2018
A woman of infinite grace and consummate beauty, Lee left us on Sunday, July 22, 2018 to go dancing with Dave.

She lived life to the fullest, even to her very last day. Daughter Dee noted how good she looked, how beautiful she was on Saturday night. Lee even told her that evening the ladies at Ledgeview Golf Club were talking about how she "had her swing back" . . . elegant, caring and giving as she was, Lee was fiercely competitive too, especially at golf and, in her€younger days, as a champion curler. And she was passionate about dancing, especially with her soulmate Dave.

Lee was born in Clive, Alberta, on August 18, 1937 and in1975 moved with Dave and family to Abbotsford, British Columbia, establishing what became the highly successful Bobcat Country equipment dealership.

Throughout her years in Abbotsford, Lee was very involved with Ledgeview Golf Club, particularly with junior golfers and the Ladies Club, as well as helping write the history of the course. She was also a strong supporter of Abbotsford Hospice, its board and the development of Holmberg House, along with many other community charities. In 2012, to recognize Lee's warm, accepting and generous nature, she was awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for her community contributions.

Lee was predeceased by her beloved husband Dave on January 23, 2017, and by son David Jr. in 2011. She is survived by son Michael Hardie (Marina), daughter Dee Gorrell and son Phil Holmberg (Michelle), daughter-in-law Wanda Holmberg, grandchildren Meredith Hardie, Jonathan Gorrell, Phillip and Nicholas Holmberg, Christopher Holmberg and Maddison Nipkow (Paul) and three great grandchildren Maverick, Scarlett and Oliver Nipkow.

Lee also has two surviving brothers Robert and Norman McCutcheon, and nieces Lori Keller and Bonnie Downton. She was predeceased by brother Donald and sisters Muriel and Ruby.

At Lee's request, a private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Holmberg House/Abbotsford Hospice Society at: www.abbotsfordhospice.org/donate
