FINDLAY, Kenneth Edward
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at Surrey Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 18, 2011. Ken is survived by Laine, his loving wife of 52 years; his children, Colleen Findlay, Pam Findlay (Mike) and Daren Findlay (Chris); his grandchildren, Chris (Aimee), Janelle (Kyle), Brian and Shelby, as well as his extended family and his special four-legged friend, "Joy-Joy" A cabinet maker by trade and more recently a truck-driver, Ken loved his family and his music. He and Laine enjoyed travelling in their RV during their retirement. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, March 28, at Immanuel Fellowship Baptist Church, 2950 Blue Jay Rd., in Abbotsford, B.C. Reverend Jim Penner will officiate. For those desiring, donations made in Ken's memory, to the B.C. Cancer Foundation would be most appreciated.
