July 22, 1956 - January 31, 2024
Passed away in Abbotsford hospital after a long illness. Katharine was born in Vancouver, grew up in Coquitlam, and lived in Abbotsford for much of the last 40 years.
She is survived by husband, Chris, and children, Jordan, Stuart, Sarah, and Scarlet. Also sisters Cheryl, Jolene, and Sue, nephews, cousins, and many longtime friends. She was predeceased by parents, Walter and Mary Stringer.
Many thanks to the staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for their unbelievable care and support during our difficult time.
We will remember Kathie for her decorating style and flair for the unusual. Most importantly, her deep compassion and kindness to those around her.
