January 14, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that Matt & Cynthia Stobbe announce the passing of their precious daughter and loving sister Kaela, into the arms of Jesus on January 14, 2019.

Kaela leaves behind, and will be remembered dearly by her loving parents, big sister Hannah, grandparents Jim & Judy Michlouski, grandparents Jim & Katherine Stobbe, her uncles James & Jason Michlouski, uncle Steve (Rhonda) Stobbe, her sweet cousin Amelia and many honorary uncles, aunts and cousins.

Kaela was born on November 28, 2011 at ARHCC. Despite her poor prognosis and being given the label of incompatible with life (due to her diagnosis of Full Trisomy 18 or Edwards Syndrome), Kaela came home with her parents, the next day and continued on to live 7 beautiful years, showing everyone that she was not "disabled", but "specially-abled" and so very compatible with life and love. Kaela attended preschool at MEI and Kindergarten to Grade 2 at Matsqui Elementary. She made many loving friends there and will be missed greatly by all her fellow students, teachers, EAs and others who had the joy of knowing her. Over the years, Kaela also had many therapists and caregivers that will surely miss her energy and spunk as well. Her larger than life spirit and that smile that would light up a room and your heart, will be remembered and celebrated by all who loved and cared for her. She was truly a miracle and a constant reminder that with God, all things are possible!

A celebration of her life will be held at King Road Church, 32068 King Road, Abbotsford at 2 pm, January 26, 2019.
