The Lord giveth and

the Lord taketh away.

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Julia Nadine Koning-Carter, born June 11, 1981, entered into eternal life with her Saviour Fri., Sept. 10, after struggling through six and a half months of a difficult pregnancy. She fought courageously to give life to her miracle baby, but succumbed to complications three days later. She leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband Jon and her premature newborn Alexis Patricia Joy, as well as her loving parents Jack and Sieglinde Koning, her sister Heidi (and Dustin) Drader, brothers Nathan (and Nomi) Koning, and Daniel Koning; her in-laws Trevor and Linda Carter, Nana and brother-in-law Gary Carter, in addition to her grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends and acquaintances around the world.

Julia enjoyed life to the fullest with her colorful character, her generous nature and her caring personality, always caring for the underdog and sticking up for justice. She loved singing and participating in school and church music and blessed many people with her gifts.

A memorial service celebrating Julia’s life will be held Fri., Sept. 17 at 2 pm at the Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Rd.

The Carter and Koning families wish to thank all those who have offered such wonderful support and many prayers during this difficult time.
