GAMBILL, Judy Karen (nee Schmahl)
May 14, 1948 - February 5, 2011
After a brave battle with cancer Judy passed peacefully at home on February 5th. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, stepmom, grandma, aunt and friend. Survived by the Gambills: John, her husband of 22 years; step - children David (Carrie), Gina, and Jeremiah; Grandchildren Seamus, Keller, Molly. Survived by the Schmahls: Sister-in-law Nancy; nephews Kevin and Kyle, and many cousins. She will also be missed by her extended family of countless friends, co-workers, and a multitude of students at Ten-Broeck Elementary in the Abbotsford School Dist where she worked for 30+ years. Predeceased by her parents Emil and Hilda, and brothers Dennis and Lloyd, Judy is now reunited with her family. Her wonderful sense of humour and generous heart will never be forgotten and her laughter will live in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held Sunday, Feb 20, 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Jubilee Hall,7999 Bradner Rd, Abbotsford, BC Donations to the SPCA in lieu of flowers in Judy's memory would be greatly appreciated.
