Our Mom passed away suddenly at the age of 87, on Monday September 17th 2018.
Joy was an incredibly strong woman in her community. Joy was the vice-president and then president of the Aldergrove Food Bank for many years, as well as running the Emotions Anonymous group. She loved traveling, singing, writing poetry, visiting family and friends and singing in her church choir. Joy was a loving mother, dedicated friend and she brought true care and love to the lives of others.
Mom is survived by her spouse Ralph, daughters Ruth-Ann (Tom), Jennifer (Gary), sons Michael and Larry (Sharon), grandchildren Jym, Frank, Belinda and Danielle, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Preceded in death by husband Larry Clement, Bill Wainwright, daughter Nancy Lee, sister Dorothy and parents.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that honoring donations be made to Tabor Village in her memory. We would like to build a legacy to care for other people and families affected by dementia and Alzheimers. Mom will be dearly missed.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 29th at 1:00 pm, in the Chapel at Tabor Court, 31954 Sunrise Crescent, Abbotsford, BC.
