1914 - 2011
John Peters passed away peacefully on March 25, 2011 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Lena, a few months short of their 70th anniversary. Also grieving her loss are their children, Louella (Bill) Rempel, Alvin (Ingrid), Vera Ganderton, Eugene (Kelly), and Robert (Carol), as well as long term foster children Kris and Ev Ryan; grand-children and great grand-children.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 30 from 7 to 9 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford. Funeral Services will be held at the Level Ground Church, 31216 King Rd, Abbotsford on Thursday, March 31st at 1:00 pm. Donations to MCC in memory of John Peters would be appreciated.
