John 'Peter' Gauthier, a long-time resident of Abbotsford, BC and retired Vedder Transport driver, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 18, 2019, following a brief yet inspiring fight against brain cancer. Peter is survived by his wife, Karen Smith Gauthier; his children, Rick (Nicole), Chris (Jaquie); grandchildren, Evan and Camille Gauthier; siblings, Lauraine, Mary, David (Lisa), Patty, Carol Anne, Terri and Michael; nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. Floral arrangements are available from Simply Perfect Flowers or in lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the Abbotsford Hospice Society.
