John Andrew Drummond McGeorge, born June 28, 1929. John (Jock) born in St. James, Manitoba; moved to Burnaby, BC in 1951 and to Abbotsford, BC in 1988; passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015, surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his “wonderful one” Helen (nee Rutherford), wife of 62 years, his sister Wilma Tenford and his children, Diane (Rick Heath), Laurie Sine, Jeff (Jennifer) and Fiona (Ted Scott). John was grandpa to 8 and great-grandpa to 8 more - his love for them all was immeasurable. He had a sweet swing on the golf course, where he spent some of his happiest hours. Member of the Quarter Century Club, John retired from CPAir after 38 years of service. Playful and funny to the end, John leaves a legacy of love. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice in John’s name. Celebration of life November 15, 2015.
