John Benjamin Bergen passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, British Columbia on the 28th of March 2013 at the age of 77 years. John was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Marina and first grandson Nicholas. He is survived by his loving wife Ursula and his children Phil (Mindy), Steve (Sharon), Karen (Dave), Kathy (Darrel), Tim (Charmaine) as well as 15 grandchildren, brothers and sisters and many friends. He is remembered for the many years of service in his community, school, and church. He was a giving person and gave freely of his time and effort to his family. No funeral service will be held as per the families wishes. There will however, be a memorial service at Bethel Reformed Church in Abbotsford on April the 5th at 1 PM.
