Johan (Jack) FCIP
Born: October 17, 1931 - Died: August 13, 2017
After a long and valiant fight, passed away at ARH, surrounded by his family and close friends. Jack is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Isobel, daughter Karen (Shawn), son Brian (Diosa), sister Betty (Bob), granddaughter Brittney and his extended family. Predeceased by his brother Tony Hiebert. He was born in Niverville, Manitoba, moving to North Vancouver in 1967 with CUMIS, and finally retiring in Abbotsford. With his laughter and love of life, Jack was the light that lit up every room he entered. He loved his family, music, camping, and giving back to his community. Lions Club member, Past Master of Vancouver #68, member of Abbotsford #20 and Order of Eastern Star. Service at Trinity Memorial United Church, 33737 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, on August 25, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke and Kidney Foundations.
