July 10, 1943 - April 24, 2022
We as Christians are conflicted with being here with family and being with Jesus our Saviour so it is with sadness and happiness that I have lost the love of my life and for 50 years my best friend.
Jessie was predeceased by her parents, Marjorie and Wes Corbin, and sister Lila Dyer.
She leaves behind daughters Tina and Lexi (Kyle), granddaughters Kaia, Zoie and Presley, brother Robert and sister Roberta, dear friends Barry and Debi plus many other family and friends.
Jessie was born in Kamloops, moving to Vancouver to attend business school and finding work at Westrock Industries. Jessie was employed as a book keeper at Goslings and Nicholson Mechanical where she retired.
Our love story began on the first night that we met while skiing on Grouse Mountain when I told her "you are mine". We met in February, I proposed in April, we married in October, all in 1971. We ran in the first Vancouver Sun Run, hiked many miles in locations around Vancouver, many trips to Hawaii and Alaska and to our place in California.
Many thanks to the caregivers and nurses of Cherry Unit at Tabor Home who treat each resident with love and respect.
Donations can be made to Tabor Home in Jessie's name.
