October 5, 1939 - February 1, 2021
Eva Hofenk (Neudorf) was born on October 5, 1939 in Hague, Saskatchewan, Canada. She passed away on February 1, 2021 at the Holmberg Hospice in Abbotsford, BC after a short battle with cancer for the third time in her life.
Eva is survived by stepson Frederik Edward (Rick) Hofenk and stepdaughter Janna Francina (Fran) Hofenk. As well Eva is survived by sisters Susan (Gordon) Lamb and Nettie (Ron) Wagner, brother Johan (John) (Marie), sister Mary Rempel, many nephews and nieces.
Eva spent her life serving others through teaching small children, helping with refugee families and serving at Ten Thousand Villages and MCC. She loved to get together with family and friends by serving meals and invitations to play cards or table games with a tea or coffee.
On behalf of the family I would like to thank the hospital staff and the staff at the hospice for their care and commitment, it was a true blessing.
Eva's gentle smile and caring spirit will be missed.
