Hildegard (nee Penner) - went to be with the Lord April 18, 2007 in Abbotsford at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by Andreas, her husband of 53 years on November 28, 1997, and her sister Susana and brother Hans in previous years. Hildegard is survived by her loving family: son Fred (Dorinda); daughter Nancy Messere (Don); granddaughter Tiffany; great grandson Tyler; brother Peter; sister Lora and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 24 at 10:30 a.m. at King Road MB Church, 32068 King Road, Abbotsford. Pastors Andrew Dyck, Heins Schartner and Ben Baier will officiate and interment will follow at Maclure Road Cemetery. In lieu of Âflowers donations to the BC Lung Association will be appreciated.
