1944 - 2005
Henry Wesley Bartsch died May 23, 2005, after a long and valiant effort in the battle with cancer, at home in Comox with his family by his side.
Henry leaves behind his devoted wife Lee; son Adam (spouse Chantelle); daughter Megan (Spouse Jay); son Murray (spouse Karen); seven grandchildren Myles, Cassie, Shannon, Abigail, Ananiah, Matthews, and Jackson; his mother Susan; sister Nettie; brothers Cory and Wayne; and mother-in-law and friend Norine; also many nieces and nephews.
Hank’s daughter Kelly predeceased him.
Hank served in the RCN on the West Coast. He worked at Riverview Hospital for 34 years. He was an avid tennis player and had a great pitching arm for softball. He sang in his church choir and also a community choir. He had a wonderful sense of humour as well as having a great respect and love for nature. he will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Comox United Church, 250 Beach St., Comox, BC on June 4, 2005 at 11:00 am, Rev. Maggie Enwright officiating.
