Meger, Helmut. 1917 - 2011. Helmut Meger, a longtime resident of Abbotsford, formerly of Vancouver passed at the age of 94 years peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 and later took a trade as a Stone Mason. He is survived by his nieces, Rita Crossley and Evelyn Dickau; newphew, Harvey Schulz their families and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
