PETERS, Helen. July 6, 1927 - July 28, 2013. Helen (Thiessen) Peters, 86, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on July 28, 2013, at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank Peters, on October 29, 2007. Helen and Frank served as missionaries to Brazil for over 30 years, and also later as pastoral couple at King Road MB in Abbotsford and Culloden MB in Vancouver. Deeply committed to her family, Helen found much joy in being with any or all of them. Helen is lovingly remembered by her six children: Martha (and Ken) Stewart, Lydia (and Valter) Warkentim, Louise (and Heinz) Duck, David (and Laura) Peters, Daniel (and Cindy Sue) Peters, Esther (and Stan) Gubiotti. She was a fervently praying Oma for her 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and will be tenderly remembered by all.
