Heather Sharon Mavor Sapielak went peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2003 at the age of 61 years. Heather was born in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, where 22 years later she married her beloved husband, Stan.
In her 34 years as a nurse, Heather worked at MSA Hospital for 30 years. She was predeceased by her father James Boan and husband Stan. Survived by her mother Myrtle (Scotty) Boan, brothers Bryce (Birdie) and Duncan (Barb), sons Malcolm (Laurie), James, Kevin and grandchildren Michaela and James. She was loved by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Ann's Parish, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of your choice.
