Harry Gordon passed away peacefully in Mission on February 2, 2006. Harry was born June 16, 1928 in McAdam, New Brunswick and he was the youngest of nine siblings, all of whom have preÂdeceased him except for his sister, Gertrude, who is 94. Harry joined the RCAF in 1946 and served in Canada and Europe. Harry retired in 1978 and moved to Mission with his wife and daughter. He worked for ten years as a correctional officer at Ferndale Institution. Harry enjoyed camping, canoeing and fishing and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Maxine; daughter Pam (Ted) Brooks; granddaughters Chantal and Alana Brooks and numerous friends and relatives across Canada and in Seattle.
Thank you to the staff at Grand Street Lodge and MMH for caring for Harry over the past two years. A special thank you to the team at the Christine Morrison Hospice for making Harry so comfortable during his last week.
There will be a private Âfamily gatherÂing and no service by request.
