Gwen was the only child of James & Elsie Pym.
She earned her BA in Education from UBC and studied at PBI while teaching school. She then attended French language school in France and Switzerland before going to Zaire, Africa to serve for 18 years with African Inland Mission.
When Gwen returned home to care for her mom, she worked as Director of Abbotsford Alzheimer's Society until retirement.
She was also very active at Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church (now Mill Lake Church). Gwen had a servant heart, gentle spirit, and joyful laugh.
Though we will miss her, we know that she is at peace after a fruitful life that gave out of love for her Lord and Savior.
