With profound sadness, but with thankfulness for a life well-lived, we announce that Gilbert Edward Epp passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. Gilbert was residing at Bevan Village with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Joy, and his four children: Judy (David Blatz), Cheryl (Mike Lerner), Brenda (George Amaral) and James (Monique Gaisson); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as Joy's four children: Laurie Harder (Sue), Linda Patterson, Don Harder (Laurie Townsend) and Diane (Gord Torris); 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also two sisters: Lois (Duane Schroeder) & Eileen (Walter Wiens). The Memorial Service will be held at Bakerview MB Church in Abbotsford on Friday, Nov. 6 at 3:00 pm. The family wishes to thank all the friends and relatives who visited Gilbert & Joy and the staff at Bevan Village for their kindness and care.
