Kennedy - George Stewart. March 1941 - January 2012. Stewart Kennedy, age 70, passed away on Monday January 2, 2012 at Abbotsford hospital after an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his wife Frances Anne; children Tracey (Mel Didyk); Kelly (Wes Kerwin); Shannon (Jurij Dubrovin); 9 grandchildren; sister Carol, from Ontario and numerous other relatives in Ontario. He was born in London, Ontario and moved to BC in 1964. They lived in Burnaby for eight years and then moved to Abbotsford.
Stew was a surveyor and land developer. For many years he was involved in community organizations both in Burnaby and Abbotsford. There will be a celebration of life held at the Rancho on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 2-4 pm. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer centre. Donations in lieu of flowers many be made to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer centre.
