December 4, 1957 - May 14, 2021
Gary has taken his last ride after a three year battle with cancer, with his family by his side. He leaves behind, his four children, Dennis, Katie, Adriana and Lyndsey and their spouses, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild to mourn him; as well as his Dad Bill and his best friend Cheryl.
He was predeceased by his mother Diane and his brother Mike.
Gary was a loving Dad, Grandpa (Papa) and friend. He was always there for us all, even in his battle with cancer. He always worried about others before himself and wanted to make sure everyone was okay. He loved to ride his Harley and enjoyed his various bike trips with friends. He also loved to go for coffee with family and friends.
His career in Health and Safety spanned over 30 years. He was an advocate on working and playing it safe. He would never hesitate to tell you if something you were doing was not being done safely.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to the Cancer and Palliative Units at the Abbotsford Hospital.
Due to Covid there will not be a Celebration of Life at this time, but we are hoping to celebrate his life in May 2022.
