Ethel ("Dutchie")

Dutchie passed away at MSA Hospital at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Albert in 1994 and her daughter Victoria in 2003, she will be sadly and lovingly missed by her son Garry (Selma), and her daughter Judy (Tony) Swain. She was a devoted grandmother to Debbie, David, Jackie, Kim, Nikki, Teresa and Tony, and she was so proud of her great-grandchildren Zoe, Megan, Ashley, Jared, Cameron and little Hailey. She was a special sister and aunt to Joe (Bea) Galloway, Glen (Linda) Galloway, Annabelle Brown, Doris (Carl) Vince and their families. She was predeceased by her sisters Hazel, Myrtle, Betty and Helen. She will always be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humour, her love of family and friends, and her determination to always look her best with her make-up on, her hair beautifully coiffed, and her jewellery in place.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 2:00 in Gladwin Heights United Church, 3474 Gladwin Rd., Abbotsford.
