DAWSON; Emma Mae (nee Olson). March 14, 1936 ~ June 11, 2014. Emma passed away peacefully with family at her side on June 11th. Emma was born and grew up on a farm in Peardonville, lived in Newfoundland and Montreal before retiring to Saltspring Island. Emma was a potter and loved to garden and cook. She will be much missed. Survived by her loving husband Bill, daughter Cathy (Gary), son Bill (Lori), grandsons Alex and Jack. Also survived by her sisters Eda, Freda (Joe), Grace, Alice (Larry) and brother Jim (Janet). A service for family was held on Tuesday, June 17 at Royal Oak Burial Park in Victoria.
