It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, daughter-in-law, aunt, great aunt, who passed away peacefully at MSA General Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C. in the early morning hours of June 21st, 2004.
She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Jason and wife Brittany; brothers: Roy (Betty), Fair (Jean), Bert, sisters: Iris and Pat. She will also be missed by her nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and her many, many friends who were all so very special to her.
Elsie was a bright light in our lives and touched the hearts and souls of all who knew and loved her. Her zest for life, her unconditional love and her courage and strength throughout her life and throughout her illness have been an inspiration to all of us.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to Drs. Turchen, Burns, the nurses and staff of MSA General Hospital, with special thanks to Denise, for their compassion and caring.
A'Celebration of Elsie's Life' will be held at the Matsqui Community Hall, St. Olaf Ave., Abbotsford, B.C. on Sunday, June 27, 2004 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Family and friends welcome.
In lieu of flowers, if any, donations to the B.C. Cancer Agency would be greatly appreciated.
