Elizabeth BJ Pennell

May 16, 1966 - July 13, 2022
Elizabeth "BJ" Pennell passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 13, 2022 at age 56 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was a caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
BJ was born on May 16, 1966 in Surrey, B.C. The family moved to Squamish in 1975 where she graduated from high school in 1984. She enjoyed travelling and served on a kibbutz in Israel. She worked as a church Secretary and graduated from Western Pentecostal Bible College.
She was always kind and compassionate and looked for the beauty in the little things and found richness in relationships. BJ had many friends whom she cared for unconditionally and made it her mission to encourage others despite her own struggles and illness.
BJ was predeceased by her father, Joseph; leaving to mourn her mother, Betty; two brothers, Rick (Brenna), Ted (Michelle) and six nephews and nieces. She will be sorely missed by many.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 am on August 3, 2022 at the Sevenoaks Alliance church in Abbotsford. May BJ rest in peace and rise in the glory of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
