Passed away peacefully at age 90, in Menno Home where she resided the last 2 years. Born in Friedensdorf, South Russia, Elisabeth had a difficult childhood growing up under communism before coming to Canada with her sister Helen as a refugee after WWII. She met Peter Krahn in the refugee camp, married in Canada and had a very happy fulfilled life.

Predeceased by her husband Peter, her daughter Mary Louise Siemens, son-in-law Rudy Siemens and grandson Leon Siemens. Survived by her children Hank (Angie), Adina (Gord) Kornelsen, Esther (Peter van Wissen), Peter (Kathe), Victor (Sharalynn), Jay (Kathleen) plus 31 grandchildren and 28 greatgrandchildren; all of whom she loved very much.

Please join the family in honoring Elisabeth's life. April 28 at 11 am for a CELEBRATION OF LIFE at Menno Home Chapel, 32910 Brundige Ave, Abbotsford (parking anywhere at Menno Home for that day or around Mill Lake). April 27 from 7-9 pm viewing (for family and close friends) at Woodlawn Funeral Home on 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford.
