Edith Helen McInroy (nee Schmidt)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edith Helen McInroy on January 26, 2017 at the age of 85. She is survived by son Greg (Juanita), daughter Cynthia (Dave) and grandchildren Brendan, Lauren, Sean, and Shaeline. She is predeceased by husband Ken. Edith was an avid walker and enjoyed cooking. She had a flair for decorating, and loved to spend hours in the gardens at their homes in Abbotsford, Mission, and on Pender Island. She volunteered at the Clark Theatre in Mission. She was a proud Nanny to her four grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Greystone Manor in Maple Ridge where Edith and Ken spent their final years, and also the staff at Baillie house where Edith received exceptional care during her final months. There will be a celebration of Edith's life at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to SAINTS animal rescue service in Mission.
