Edith LeDuc, late of Mission, B.C. passed away Saturday, October 4, 2003 at home at the age of 90 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Ramsey Milne in 1987 and step-son Ramsey Milne Jr. in 1991. She will be sadly missed by her son Phillip, sister Pearl and many friends.

Edith was born on November 1, 1912 in Wisbech, England. She moved to Canada as a child and settled in Chatham, Ontario where her son Phillip was born. Edith and her husband travelled to the Philippines and other countries where Ramsey worked as a professional engineer on such projects as the Aswan Dam. Edith worked along side of him doing agricultural work in these countries.

Margo as her friends called her, loved her garden and continued to grow and give away much of the produce to friends until shortly before she died. She lived her life doing the things she enjoyed and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to many.

She was a member of the C.W.L. A prayer service will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 32550 -7th Avenue, Mission with a Funeral Mass to follow on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Friends wishing to do so may make a memorial donation to the Mission Foundation.
