MAZERALL; Earle Emmett
The family of Earle Mazerall regrets to announce his passing on November 18, 2014 in Menno Hospital in Abbotsford, BC at the age of 93 years. Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Alfred Mazerall Sr. and the late Elizabeth Leona McManaman. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Jean; his children Barbara Scott-Hudak and Bruce Mazerall; grandchildren Jason Scott, Logan and Maia Hudak, Emma Mazerall; great grandchildren Taylor and Connor Scott and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Gerald and James. Earle spent 33 years in the Canadian Army, RCDC, then 7 years at Corrections Canada before retiring. He was a Shriner and a 33rd Degree Mason, having served in numerous capacities. In his youth he played softball, baseball and hockey, then bowling, curling and golf; but mostly he enjoyed his extended family. Cremation has taken place. An open memorial service was held November 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge at Gladys and Pine Streets, Abbotsford.
