July 17, 1947 - June 17, 2004
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Leslie Ulinder on June 17, 2004.
Ron was pre-deceased by his father Godfrey Eric Ulinder, and brother Daniel Derek Ulinder. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Helene; his wife Noreen; children Kyle, Aaron and most recent daughters-in-law Rebecca Legge and Lisa Courtenay; sister-in-law Alida Ulinder; nieces, Alexa and Erika Ulinder. Ron's brother and sisters-in-law Kurt and Ardath Van Peteghem, niece Andrea; and nephews Gerry and Todd Van Peteghem and Glen and Loretta Burns in addition to numerous beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ron dedicated his life to his passions: his career, the ocean, automibiles, traveling and living life to its fullest.
In his 32 years as a practicing dentist Ron strived to excel in his field, achieving most recently the honour and indoctrination into the American College of Dental Surgeons. Ron further thrived as a yachtsman, motocyclist, car enthusiast and traveler, crossing each continent with endless strides of enthusiasm
Ron contributed significantly to his community, taking great pride in his involvement with the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem Knights Hospitaller, Ducks Unlimited, the UBC Dental Alumni Association and many other charitable organizations.
He will be missed by all.
