It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of Douglas (Sydney) Penner.
Dad will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife, Irene, son, Garry (Cathie), son Randy (April), daughter Cindy (Peturson) (Dave), son Michael, son Craig (Lore), daughter Michelle (Davies) (Steve), nine grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Dad is survived by sister Doris Barkman and Dorothy Nino as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at Fraser Health who lovingly cared for Dad in his final days.
A celebration of life service will be held in his honour Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
