Dennis McKenzie, born in Vancouver on November 23, 1949, passed into the presence of his Lord on May 9, 2020 in Abbotsford, aged 70.
He completed his B.Sc. at SFU, he married Marj and they moved to Saskatoon to complete his DVM. Following graduation they moved to Osoyoos, and started South Valley Veterinary Hospital. After 15 fulfilling years, they moved, with their three children to Abbotsford and started Clayburn Pet Hospital.
Dennis was involved in serving his community through coaching basketball and hockey, prison ministry and church ministries.
He leaves behind Marj, his wife of 47 years, three children, Richard (Christie), Scott (Danica) and Kelly (Nathan) Bulat. He had twelve precious grandchildren, one sister Mary (Jack) Fordham, one brother Morris. Many loving nieces and nephews, and dear relatives in Ireland.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elizabeth's Wildlife Center in Abbotsford. Virtual memorial to be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 1 pm.
