It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of David Sawatzky wishes to announce his passing on January 26, 2013. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 93. He is survived by his son Victor & wife Janie, his daughter Elaine & husband Lester Barkman, 4 grandchildren Darnell (Christina), Tyson, Ronees, Marley, 6 great -grandchildren Lacey (Brian), Karter, Charli, Ella, Cody and Makai all who loved him. David's family extends special thanks to the staff in Baker 2 medical unit at Abbotsford hospital and in particular Dr. Manreet Gill.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Heights Church, 1661 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, B.C.
