REGIER David. Entered into the presence of his Lord on Father’s Day June 17, 2012. Born in the Ukraine on February 24, 1927. At the age of four he immigrated and homesteaded with his family in Paraguay, S.A. Later he trained as a Tin Smith, met and married Helene Bahnmann on June 26, 1947. Then immigrated to Canada and together they raised six children, Anne (Sonny), Peter (Cindy), Hank (Kim), Abe (Zsuzsi), Frieda (Rick) and Rudy (Evelyn), eighteen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. David was predeceased by his parents, six sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Helene, his children, brother Peter as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am June 23, 2012 at the Westbank Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Road Kelowna.
