Clayton Lawrence. Born October 15, 1932 in Edmonton, Alberta; passed away April 21, 2004 in Abbotsford, BC with his family at his side.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Betty, his children Cheryl, Gaye, Carol (Ray), Barbara (Kevin), Bob (Heather), and his grandchildren, Jason, Rachel, Amber, Brian, Kayleigh, David, Teresa and Emily.
Pre-deceased by his parents, George and Gladys, and his son Brian Thomas (Yvonne).
Clay held many positions in the financial industry, finishing his career with the Toronto Dominion Bank at age 57.
His greatest joy in his retirement was walking with and doting on his grandchildren. Clay's wonderful sense of humour and infectious laugh will be fondly remembered by his co-workers, friends, and family.
A private service was held April 22, 2004 in the Menno Chapel, Abbotsford. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Menno Hospital West 2 for their considerate care and kindness. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of BC in his memory will be appreciated.
